Today was a very rainy day here in LA and I absolutely loved it. It was the taste of home I've been wanting and it was also the perfect time to pull out some fall looks now that the weather no longer seems to be reaching record highs. The only downfall of today was my lack of jacket. Curse you, weather.com, for telling me it would be 71 when it was only 60. I'll be more prepared next time when I just go with my gut.
I treated myself to a little shopping day this weekend and scored some pretty good staples to add to my wardrobe. I've been looking lately at getting some chic classic pieces that have a timeless yet trendy vibe. And this shirt is that kid of simple slick blouse everyone should own. It's a little oversized, which gives it that boyfriend shirt vibe and is completely comfy yet sleek. I love it paired with some great skinny pants and my ankles bootie.
