Windy Weekend with a Little Barack

DSC_0500 copy

The weekend didn't turn out as rainy as those meteorologists predicted, though it was definitely chilly and super windy. I had a great time catching up with different friends on different days and cooking up a Thanksgiving treat that I'll share with you tomorrow.

This morning, I woke up to a text from my friend, Sarah. Sarah usually takes my outfit pictures on work days, but today she wanted me to photograph her new custom surfboard. She brought her little puppy, Barack, over and we went to the ocean front walk to snap some shots; my outfit, her surfboard and a little Barack.

Last weekend I was at h&m and I was shocked to find an almost identical scarf there for sale like this one. I got this from a street vendor in Madrid and have been in love with it for the past two years. It has those gypsy bohemian elements that I love and a little dose of glamour in the gold threading. I think they're becoming a trend because I saw a bunch of similar ones at Forever21 today, too.

this is the most barack would stay still.

Sarah's custom new board is incredible. She has previously shown me the mood and inspiration board she had created for it and it couldn't have come out more perfect. It's done by Travis Reynolds Surfboards.
