Doesn't my outfit look kind of flight attendant today? It's for sure the way I tied my scarf. I had originally planned to wear the scarf as a head wrap but was running short on time and just threw it on instead. A simple tie and I look ready to embark on a whirlwind wandering adventure. First class, international.

Growing up my childhood friends would say that I looked like I would make a good flight attendant. (Don't really know what constitutes that but hey, whateva!) I guess this outfit is an homage to that theory and it's as close as I may ever come.

However, a flight attendant uniform is very matchy and I'd like to think this look is more like professional boheme. I wanted to play with mixing prints again and was drawn to this skirt and scarf combo. I think it's easy to get in a style rut when you're constantly matching so I've been pushing myself to be out of the box and have adopted the motto: it doesn't have to match, it just has to go. I previously played with prints here and I have another mix-up brewing for tomorrow.
