[Everyday Ensemble] The Boyfriend Flannel

Hi there and happy Thursday, friends. Meet my bike, the Free Spirit and my boyfriend flannel or rather, boyfriend's flannel. We've been hit with some unpleasant cold and very wet weather recently and it's to continue so all I can think about is being warm and cozy and on such occasions, I live in this flannel. It turns out to be the perfect security blanket.

Yesterday was a fairly eventful day. We found out that Elizabeth Taylor passed and I was really saddened. She was such a fabulous and wonderful talent. I was reading about her throughout the day and came across this quote I was particularly fond of.

"Everything makes me nervous - except making films. "

You see, last night was also the last night of my first acting class here in LA and we had a little performance for friends and family. It felt really great to perform in front of an audience again and it really wrapped up the class well. I had been really nervous throughout the class every time we would work on our scenes and yet magically, last night I managed to conquer my nerves and went into the performance feeling rather peaceful. Now, that's what I call exhilarating. It was great to dip my feet into the waters of performance again and I think I'm ready to start some swimming.
